Valerie desires to increase food security and housing among the Veteran population. She has worked closely with The American Legion, America’s largest wartime veterans service organization, for several years. She would support resolutions to increase the availability of Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) programs across New Hampshire to encourage student volunteers. It is evident that Valerie’s commitment to serving New Hampshire’s greatest heroes will be lifelong.

It is essential that New Hampshire honors the men and women who have risked their lives protecting our freedom. We owe a debt of gratitude that can never be paid to America’s veterans, some of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Valerie McDonnell supports resolutions to increase the availability of Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) programs across New Hampshire. This will raise student interest in veterans organizations and encourage student volunteers. In addition, JROTC programs have numerous benefits, including developing leadership, discipline, and time-management skills.
